Talking stock SS timeslip

2001 SS m6 (100% stock except for lid and free mods)
This is exactly how i bought the car minus the free mods
Whisper Lid
descreened MAF
free ram air
removed front grill
throtle body bypass
SLP dual dual catback
pro 50 pt

crappy Fuzion ZRi street tires (not good traction)
AND slipping clutch

13.1 @ 109
(yeah posting here because if i had put on my nittos and installed my clutch i would be mid/high 12's)

Sweet, put on those damn tires to get in the 12's.

Was that one of your first trips to the track?

Great run and good mph. Only thing you cant say it's 100% stock. You do have the free mods, air lid, descreened maf and dual catback so it has slight mods. You added a good 15-20 HP with those mods.

Plus 2.15 60 foot is not that bad on a fuzion tire. With a nitto you will get 1.8 to 1.9 or so. So you will be in the high 12's

SS comes with lid and catback as options. free mods are using the stock pieces technically without any additions. I'd call it stock

Yes true but his was added after. He stated he had a ( whisper lid and slp dual, duals catback exaust ) So it has some mods.

This is just the way I fill is all. When you add any type of mods then it is not 100% stock anymore. 100% stock is the way it came of the assembly line. This is just what I have learned over the years and at the track.

Well technically to me it is stock, this is the way i bought it ($14,100) ~2.5 months ago 52k miles, now has 56k

the lid looks like a whisper lid but it doesnt have the red LS1 sticker on it.
im not sure if it has a small stealth cam or not, but i dont think so. Whoever had it before me knew what they were doing, descreened the MAF and i tihnk they added the lid, never heard of a different lid as an option besides SLP..

You have a great runner. Very good MPH. Did you get it from a dealership or the person that owned it?

Did the SS ever come with a slp dual, duals catback? Also that is a good time you ran and good mph.

I am not trying to bash. Maybe I am a little more suprised on the MPH on these cars. Et no but the MPH yes. I would have guessed 105 at the max.

i got it from a dealership but it wasnt a chevy or GM dealer, its "preowned" cars, mostly european imports this was the only american car on the lot, snagged it up for 14,100 within 2 days of seeing it lol

Stock is exactly how it came from the factory. You're car is not stock.

Still...nice run.

Stock = way it came from factory. regardless of other options you could have gotten.

the SS could have come with lid and exhaust if you got the full 345 horse option. very nice run, but your car isn't stock. do what i do, i say my car is 99.8% stock (lid/cut out).

I run the car at Atco Dragway which is only 29 ft above sea leval, maybe that is the reason for the high MPH.My car came with the SLP exhaust
