...and then going to Cedar Falls on saturday. Also adding an eaton posi (still have the stock 2 series carrier, that has had 55k miles of abuse). I hope this will be enough to get me the .06 I need to make my way into the 11s!

 

So. How did it go?

Ended up running a best of 12.08@115mph 1.72 60'. The DA for the day was 3300ft at Tri-State Raceway in Iowa, so I know if the weather was better I could have gotten my 11.. I gained 3mph but now the tranny is wanting to shift into 4th a couple hundred feet before the 1/4, so I have to leave it in 3rd and cross at about 6700rpm (just shy of rev limiter). I am thinking I need to step up to a taller tire maybe?

Guess its not too bad for a stock headed LT1 on nittos
