12s here i am guys!!!!!

Well guys it happened last night i hit 12s. It was my 4th run since i have had the car. The first run down i hit them. What a frigin feeling when the girl gave me the ticket. Yahooooooooo. My time was 12.702 @ 106.5 / 60' 1.85 / R.T. .550. Went thru the traps at about 5800. And guys this is on street tires. can't wait for drag radials.

Great Job man. We have pretty similar setups so Id say with some DRs 12.3x - 12.5x's are in your future.

My trans am is a 1998. I have heard many times that 98s are the lowest for making good numbers at the rear wheels. Problems with the heads and some other stuff. Back in 1998 the only had like 280 something at the rear wheels.

Congrats! I'm still waiting to get there myself, so I can only imagine how it must feel.

With some more practice and better traction, you're looking at 12.5s out of that thing.

Thanks guys been busy with work. My tires are the same as the 2003 corvette only 16x8. I spun a little bit but it could have been worse. I rolled out of the hole and then just punched it. still waiting for drag radials. stuck between bfgoodwrench or mickys. well when i get DRs i will post new times.
