Default Going racing at OSW

I'm heading to OSW Friday night to reach for the 12's. I think its going to be damned close.

With 3.42's and no headers: 13.4 @ 106, 2.0 60'. I'm running 3.73's and long tubes now. It definately pulls WAY harder. I'm hoping to get a 1.9 out of the street tires to put it in the 12's. Crossing my fingers!

its not as bad a track as people make it out to be WHEN THEY PREP. i ran a 13.3 bone stock to the filter on shitty walmart tires with a 2.0 60' you'll make it for sure

I was in the pro lanes when I ran the 13.4, apparently they're only going to open the prop lanes to 12.99 or faster, so I better get there tonight The pro lanes seemed MUCH better prepared than the regular lanes...and they're never as crowded!

The night started out decent, but went downhill. I hot lapped twice when I first got there- ran a 13.28@108.4 with a 2.09 60', followed by a 13.12@108.8 with a 2.03 60'.

After that, the track prep went downhill. My next run I spun all the way through first, and then the staff realized "Oh, I guess we should spray the track again." Yeah. Good idea. Never got my 60' within a 2.0 the rest of the night. The humidity was also very high, there was alot of fog by the end of the night.

I figure with cooler temps and lower humidity (which probably won't happen in Florida), I should be able to make it.

Sorry to hear it man. Sucks that they don't keep the track prepped very well. Keep tryin! You'll hit it soon.

When I first got there at 6:30 I got in two quick hot laps, then it was at least an hour in between runs after that. Total of five runs in 5 hours.
