Damn, that's a pretty fast bolt-on Hot-cammed LT1 for no converter!

What kind of rubber?

Street tires? Cool.

Good thing your Opti lasted till the end of the track! J/K!

Anything but 2.73's make a big difference for an A4.
Combine that full bolt on's and you'd be amazed what a Good Runnin LT1 will do.

Nice times Merv...

I think he means 3.73's.. there is no way 2.73's will do that, unless he has a big stall. No way in hell will it pull that 60ft time. And he probably pulls 13.2's, not no 12's. I am not trying to sound cocky, I got it with barely much, but I have a bit more than he does.

It came that way from the Factory, I have taken the usual stuff that most of us do. I am still switching out stuff for lighter parts, so it's still getting lighter..

Dude i know what i'm talking about....

I will repeat it again..in a little more detail!

His car is a 1995 Z28 A4 2:73 gear car (not 3:73) 120,000 miles

Car has:
Moroso Intake
Unhooked exhaust (after the cat)
Removed front sway bar
Stock springs in the back, Eibach in the front, stock shocks
MT ET Streets 26X10.5X16
Auto lite 103 spark plugs
125 Shot on a "homemade" nitrous kit using NX solidnoids and NOS single fogger nozzle
STOCK STALL, STOCK TRANSMISSION

Here is the timeslip for all the "haters"/"non-believers"

On the right timeslip the trap speed sensor was screwed up in the right lane b/c a 500 whp '03 cobra fliped and mess it up.

thread on this also https://ls1tech.com/forums/drag-racing-results/451994-2-73-lt1-pullin-wheel-last-night.html

BTW he just installed a Shift Kit b/c it was hitting the rev limiter on the 1-2 **** and helped out alot. This past thursday it ran a 12.1 with a measly 1.68 60ft. Should break 11's considering it ran 12.2 w/1.55 60ft
this is from the other night

https://ls1tech.com/forums/drag-racing-results/576108-new-best-time-my-2-73-lt1.html

Oh and the Belt question....

On a LT1 the waterpump is driven by the camshaft, therefore you can take the belt off to take some strain off the motor (good for 10-15 hp) and as long as you have a decent battery the car will run fine for a couple runs down the stip. He isn't able to run the Nitrous while the belt is off though B/C there isn't enough voltage to click open the solinoids.

Any other questions?

yeah, first time it ran the 12.2 i was going crazy. then i looked at the 1.5 60' and i went nuts

but yeah, my car is a stock 95 Z28 with 2.73 gears in it. shifts out of 2nd at 94mph

those are my timeslips are transamGT is my roommate. he just has a much nicer camera than mine so he took the pics for me. everything about the belt being off and all that is correct also, when i took the belt off, the solenoids wouldnt open...they draw too many amps for the battery to run the engine, trans, and everything else

How do you figure? He has a 125 hit of nitrous, I doubt your hotcam kit adds 125 hp and the torque that spray adds.
