Finally hit 12's!
Finally hit 12's! My car is pretty much a stock (lid, and magnaflow cat-back) A4 Z28. I had a cut-out with the stock exhaust, but i put in the magnaflow since i will be putting headers and ORY this week. So i decided to make a trip to the track last night in order to set some base numbers before the headers, and this is how is turned out:
60ft- 2.1
330ft- 5.5
1/8 ET- 8.38
1/8 MPH- 87mph
1000 ET- 10.8
1/4 ET- 12.88
1/4 MPH- 109mph
So hopefully the headers will get me better than that.

yeah, i was suprised......since i was running 13.2's with the cutout and lid, i wasn't expecting much difference. This was on street tires as well, not drag radials. I'll be sure to post up the times with headers.
well that explains it, plenty stock 2002 A4 cars here running 12s, from what i've seen they respond to mods on the dyno but it never materializes on the track, like you start out ahead but gains come a little slower, thats just for the few 02 cars i've seen locally though...
finally hit 12's yeah guys, I just made in the 12's also. I have an a4 02 z28 as well with hooker catback, lid, and 3.42 gears on stock radials. It ran low 13's until the swap to 3.42 then 12.90. But not to steal your thread your car is flying for those mods.
