Thats cool man. That Pic of you and all your friends going to the track is cool. I wish iI had a bunch of cars to play around with. All i can do is chase around some trashy little Mustangs. There is a Vett that i race but that thing is thrashed and not an easy race on the road. I live in southern Oklahoma. Might be moving a little further north in the future. perhaps we can line 'em up.

well guys (if anyone is still reading this thread) i finally ordered my moser 9" and UMI SFC's yesterday from Tick Performance! i am going to order M/T et street radials next week. my car is now far from stock but after a horrible last season at the strip(a broken drivshaft, two broken 10bolts, and no traction) i will finally get to see some ET improvements! i am gonna put my new rear in and get it broke in. i will hopefully be going to the strip within a month. i will post results as soon as i get back.

your 99z didnt have an ls6 intake and 241 heads, and it was an a4, ive seen 001-02 6speed dyno around there. That your trap speed is pretty high for a 13.0-12.9 car, you could probably work a 12.5 with some tires and some practice

finally got to the track with my 9" and M/T street radials. couldn't get it to hook until end of 1st gear. i'm gonna have to work on finding a good launching RPM. best time 12.7@111.08. i was passing the line in 4th gear between 5,900 and 6,100 RPM with 4.11 gears. check out the MPH, it's exactly the same! i am now selling my chopper project and 54' bel air to buy a cam and all the parts to go with it. hopefully i will put it in and have more new times soon!
