Well in his sig it says STOCK INTERNAL meaning before cam swap 11.55.

Im expecting easy mid 12s with addition of ss4000, LTs and ORY and M/T.

yup you got it stock internal with the cam and good air i am hoping for high 10s...

weight reduction is all the basic stuff that can be removed with keeping it looking pretty much stock inside...windshield wiper res.,front and rear bumper supports, rear back seats and belts, passenger seat at the track only, spare tire and jack, heat shielding under car, 15in rims front skinnies (convos), a/c is gone to fire wall 33lbs worth, i think that is most of it...

i really need to get a lightweight battery, a pin on glass hood, race seat, get rid of my heavy catback with a light weight one or just remove it for the track, and maybe a k member then i will be happy...wanna be around 3200 raceweight...

all bolt ons...listed in signature...cant wait to test the cam out in march...

yank converter, if you want 12.0 i would say you need a yank 3600ss or ss4000. Nitrous dave can help you with your nitrous questions. if i had 3.73s with my stall now, i would be mid 12's in addition to sticky tires

I think the "best" way is personal preference, but the "easiest" way is probably a 150 shot and some ET Streets. A few suspension parts will help you out with traction.

I'm a full weight T-top car. Yank SS3600, FLT trans, 3.73's, Auburn posi, and TR220 cam with full exhaust, stock suspension minus sway bar and I'm now running consistent 12.12-15's at 112. Drives great, drive it in all weather.

Well seeing that you have an '01 you're a little ahead of the game already as they and the '02s seem to run a little better than the rest. I think with all the bolt-ons you'll be able to run pretty close to, if not faster than your goal. Check out my sig for my '99 SS.

My last trip on the highway got me close to 27 mpg with the 4.10s. I don't know how much a cam will affect the mileage but I'm sure it won't be by much.

Cam only I ran 12.1 @ 117 with a TR224 cam & bolt ons. Never had an issue on the street or with cops. Car drives great. no surging or bucking at all.

Spray AND a cam!!! and a converter! ah snap i think thats 11's.... and screw exhaust, make a borlamouth. I have LT's with 3" ypipe and cut the 2.75 part out of the loudmouth and ran 3" pipe into my Borla XR-1 then the regular LM dual part ove rthe axle. It sounds BEASTLY. Straight up race car, but once it warms up its not so bad, but it definitely has a pair. DEFINITELY quieter than with the lame LM resonator with 10x better sound
