so i took my car to the trck last week i ran.is this bad.wat wil my quater be? and how do i get in 12s...

A lot of practice.... You should be seeing a 2.0~2.1 60ft and 8.8 @ 81mph in the 1/8th (at least)... unless you are at some kind of nasty elevation. Usually it just takes a sticky tire and couple little bolt ons (like a lid).

no elavaton im in fla.. everyone says my times should be lower but thts coming frum 3:23 gears should it g0 8.8 wit a 2.73 a4

9.2 is like a 14.1

what year is the car? to hit 12's you need to be in the 8.4-8.5 range

You need a 3500-4000 rpm torque converter and drag radials if you want twelves. Gears would help too but if you want to keep the 2.73's then make sure the stall has a higher STR to make up for it. 3500 stall with a 2.5 STR has done very nicely for me. And don't forget the tranny cooler.

I would start there and then work on exhaust (LT headers and a catback). Low 12's are possible once you have a stall + full exhaust.

It's not cheap but it really is a LOT of fun having a low 12 second car on test n tune night. I badly beat 95% of the people I race at the track. But to be honest it's the 5% that give me a close run or beat me that really gets my heart pounding
