Default M6 trapped 113mph with bolt ons?

First time at the track and I am very impressed. The car is an 02 Trans Am M6 with t tops and full interior (no weight reduction). My mods are SLP lid, 80mm BBK throttle body, American Racing 1 3/4in long tubes, American Racing ORY, poly mounts and a magnaflow catback. No tuning.

60ft 2.175 2.280
330 5.659 5.748
1/8 8.445 8.556
mph 89.10 88.50
1000 10.821 10.937
1/4 12.815 12.939
mph 113.61 113.31

These are my best two runs. My MPH was consistently 113 all night. What could I run with slicks and a good launch?

i was running very similar times to you, even less mph though. but 12.80's,

got a set of et streets, and tossed in a ford 9" rearend so i wouldnt have to worry.

went from 2.1 60 ft times, to 1.65 60 ft times.

and running 12.20's, and that was with the engine pulling 5 degrees of timing and i had a 30 mph headwind. i should be 11.90's come this summer.

That's a really good trap, but it is not unheard of.

I went just under 113 (like 112.9) on my 12.67 run with just a lid, 4.10s, SLP y-pipe & TOTL catback, and a Pro 5.0 shifter on Nitto DRs.

Stock; intake/exhaust manifolds, cats, engine.
Full size fronts (17x9s no less), 1LE swaybars, 60'/e.t. killing road race/autocross suspension.

I was going 113mph traps before my cam with just boltons. On that trap if you were able to pull a low to mid 1.8 60ft without breaking your rear you will can go 12.0-12.4 without a problem.

If I hook and run a low 12 with what I have done now that would be fantastic. My bald street tires didn't help my crappy 60ft times.

You would be low 12's all day with drag radials and 1.8 60's. With a 1.7 you might even dip into the 11's. Problem is I don't think the stock 10 bolt could handle that kind of a launch.

Get some drag radials and work on some low 1.9 60's. That should get you much better times while still preserving the 10 bolt. Grats on the runs and good luck!

I trapped 113, on my best pass 12.42, with stock gears and no headers just ORY, on nitto DR, 1.89 60'. It was a nice cool night in S. Florida-see level. Get some good tires = low 12's.

Nice times, but definitely not unheard of. That 113mph is enough to get you into the low low 12s for sure.

I'm saving some cash up for a new rear and buying a second set of wheels with slicks. Then I am going back to the track with slicks and we are gonna see how fast I can go until my stock rear blows. I may add a pulley I am still unsure. 11.99 would be sweet but I am pretty sure the car will only go low 12's. Guess we will have to wait a month or two.

My best trap ever was 114 with a crappy 60ft but I trap 112-113mph consistantly.... I need consistant traction to get better times. I'm in a 98 btw
