Easiest 12.5
Easiest 12.5 I was wondering if anyone had any suggestiong to get my pretty stock 02 formula a4 to around the 12.5 range the easiest and cheapest way (with reliable parts). I drive it daily so driveabilty is a concern. Right now my best run was a 13.74. Any and all help is appreciated.

3600 stall, tuning, tires and headers. basically boltons I have a bonestock 01 t/a with 3000 stall and a lid and tuning went 12.94 on nittos at 104mph 188 60 foot 273 gears also lol I have 342s now but no times yet

I would suggest a 3600 stall, 3.73 gears, a tune, and some drag radials. Should get you close if not a little faster. You might want to consider longtubes and a catback if you don't already have them.
Midlength headers are ok, but in my opinion not worth the money. Longtubes are way more beneficial. These can be had in the for sale section cheaper than you would buy new mids for. Just offering suggestions though.

My car went 12.7 @ 109 with 2.73 gears, and only mods were SLP lid, Pacesetter LTs, and Dynomax Bullet
After adding 3.73 gears it went 12.6 @ 111....It only gained one tenth, but I also lowered it which did not help for drag racing, and added HEAVY ZR1 replicas with 17x11" ones in the back.

If you have to add a stall, you'd better be running low 12s..just my opinion 
I just told you my car went 12.7 with just headers and lid untuned on 2.73 gears , 12.6 with crappy lowered suspension not suited for drag racing and heavy wheels...12.5 would be cake with lighter wheels and better suspension mods.
Seriously..it's not hard to run fast in these cars.
I have maybe $1000 invested in performance mods...

Blue? What was your 60ft on that 13.7? I pulled a 13.4 with a 2.0 60ft in my '98, so you might have a little more left in it. Slap a set of Pacesetters on that thing, get that 60 down, and I think you'll get your 12s or damn close.

How bout we slap a nitrous kit on and run 12.50's or lower at the track and still have 2.73's in the back with rising gas prices??? This would be the cheapest and easiest way to achieve your goal and if done correctly will be very reliable. 
a stall and headers would put you in the mid-low 12 sec range on a decent tire.
you could even use the stock catback with just headers and a y-pipe if you don't want the car to be obvixious. my buddy has an 02 b4c car with just a lid, pacesetters, offroad y-pipe and tune. it goes 13.0 @ 107 all day. 140k mile car too haha. it sounds stock normal driving, but wot gives way to something suspicious.
