Exclamation 12.8 Any better?

I ran a 12.87 at 105.7 with a 60 foot of a 1.801. First time running on DRs only got two passes in. How much quicker should my car be able to do. It takes awhile to shift into third not sure why. Mods in Sig

Ha, My car went 12.6 with a 1.9 60ft and only mods were headers, lid, and 3.73s.

So with all those extra mods you have and a better 60ft...You'd better have low 12s or I'd sell the car

Bryan, you need to have your car scanned while making a pass to make sure everything is okay, if one thing is off or maybe getting some knock retard it will hold you back. but like I said before just keep learning the car and practicing your launches you will see low 12s no doubt.

I belive ya Dad haha im gonna buy hp tuners and find someone to check the car out down the track. I need it anyway so i can get my speedo corrected. My buddy with the SRT8 doesnt think ill get under 12.5. But we will see i know just through learning how to drive better ill see a 12.6.

Ls6 intake would help alot but i would like to see what i can get out of her before i start dumping money on more mods.

You should be able to pull 1.60's easy on an MT DR with 3.73's and a 3600 stall. That car will go under a 12.50 as it sits. Try a shift kit and have your tuner adjust the shift pressure in the trans. Both are small inexpensive mods that will take that hesitation out of the 2-3 shift. An LS6 intake manifold will help with some added MPH for sure.

BTW, is your torque arm adjustable? If so, what is the pinion angle set at?
