Default 12.9 @ 113 MS3 Cam only

So i finally made it to the track and i was able to get a 12.931 @ 113.56MPH. It was really hot out with no track prep. Hooking up in 1st gear was impossible.
Mod List
MS3 cam (237/242 112LSA)
LS6 Intake
Pacesetter LT Headers
no EGR
off road Y
Flowmaster 3" to 4" Merge Collector
DMH 4" Cutout
stock 10 bolt (3.42 gears)
275 BFG G-Force Sports
the only weight reduction i have is AC delete, egr delete, and no spare tire.
Agh my scanner is messed up so ill post my time slip and hopefully a video tomorrow night.

You must have went to Infineon with the Norcal-LSX guys. Glad I didn't go, seems that they did no track preop really and the heat was affecting the cars.

You should hit Sac in the end of Sept. or Oct you should move out

I feel your pain. Our track never preps, I barley managed a 12.8 at 111mph with 360rwhp. cars with 410rwhp usually run 12.9's there!

Looks like you need some traction. I ran a little faster than you with the same mods and i was spinning a lot! Anf i'm sure the hot *** weather isn't helping. Your car has low 12s for sure

what kind of power are you putting down? That cam will respond to a set of 4.10 gears. My car full weight with 315 nittos went 11.88 @ 119 on motor with a low 1.8 60'. That was with a 12 bolt moser and spec 5 clutch.
mods were typical bolt-ons, true duals, slp long tubes

You should be able to pull some 115-117 traps with an MS3 on an M6. Now getting out of the hole is a different story if the track prep is bad.

track prep is fine at infineon on weds. nights, def better than sac on tnt and grudgefest days....

your on street tires.. they arnt gonna hook nomatter the prep...

get some dr's or even better and set of et street as the sidewall will flex more than a dr and with a stick hitting the tires hard it will be better than a dr
