So will those LMC housings be a lot better for HID's in terms of HID's on a halogen housing or no?
Which one is the low beam? Inner or Outer? Thanks! Do I still need the HID kit from DDM Tuning still to put HID's in them?

I think he said they sent halogens, that would mean you would still need a HID kit.
I ordered my HID fogs today (I know finally 
) So I am anticipating pics of these. I didn't realize he was the only one here with that setup so my mistake. Do these bolt up like stock replacements? I know it comes with wiring, but I'm not sure if that's if you are looking to upgrade to HID's or whether they are required regardless.
Is it possible to get that "Bright-white" look without using HID's in that setup Paul? If I could get something that at least matched my 5000k HID Fog's I would be happy, but I am more interested in how HID's look with these.

The LMC housings come with halogen 9005/9006 bulbs.
The outer fixtures are the low beams.
The Eurolights housings I just ditched had ZERO cutoff-it was just a blurry blob. The LMC housings have a well defined and sharp cut off.
I'm certain that the LMC housings will be worlds better than the Eurolights housings with HID lamps as they are with halogens.

It's my understanding from the research I've done so far that HID lamps should not be used with anything other than projector housings designed specifically for HID lamp use. I do not belive the LMC, Eurolights or any other 4701/4703 replacement housings are projectors.
Having said this, knowing that the LMC housings have a well defined cut off, I'd say HID lamps will do well in them.
I'll try to get that shot of the reflected beams for you guys tomorrow night.

What's with the two different prices on there? One says (2) $43.69 and then 34.95. Do you think it would look bad to have a set of those low beams and the stock high beams?
How long does it take to replace stock low beams with this setup? Is it difficult for a wiring noob? You going to run HID's in these for sure or will you stick with halogen bulbs? Thanks Paull! Looking forward to the pics.

Verdad Gallardo Paul is correct on the "correct" way of converting to HID setups. The only option us firebird guys have is the new kits that just came out.... 500$+ depending on what you want, and that is just an introductory price.
argh....I tried to FREE fix today, worked great first couple of turns but now my headlight is grinding again, because the light itself doesn't lift all the way, it almost does but not fully and grinds again....not to mention the T/A ate my 10mm wrench! god knows where its at....

I love that color! SO, no cutting or splicing needed. All you need is a phillips screwdriver and a T-15 screwdriver.
OK boys, here’s the pics. The cut-off is sharp, clear and well defined.
This is with the standard 50/60 watt lamps that came with the kit. The head on pics seem to make them look a bit yellow but it must be something about pointing a digital camera at headlights. The light in person is bright and white.
The Eurolights housings just made a splotchy blob of light. Don’t even bother with them.
I’m very happy with this purchase. I’ve ordered some 5K HID kits for the lows from Autoloc, they’re available at Summit. As Summit didn’t have my exact kit (9006 fitment, 5K) I ordered them directly from Autoloc at http://www.thehoffmangroup.com/autol...=ionheadlights One odd thing about this is the various kits were a bit cheaper direct from Autoloc than from Summit.
I’m also gonna upgrade the high beam bulbs to 100 watters.
I expect in about a week I’ll have the kits and they’ll be installed. More pics when that’s done.

About how far away from the garage was your front end of car? That cutoff definitely looks like it is much better than the eurolights.

Looks great! I will get a set of these when you get your HID kit in and post some pics. You seem to be a perfectionist when it comes to lighting (which is what I am looking for). If you approve of how it looks with HID's then I will pick these up with an HID kit! 
You think they will sell the lamps cheaper if you do not want the bulbs like Eurolamps do? I know with eurolamps they knock $20 off the price. Maybe I will call them tomorrow, but I doubt it.

I’ve been getting a little frustrated researching higher wattage bulbs for the high beam LMC Truck housings. They came with 9005 bulbs with straight sockets. MOST 9005 bulbs have 90 degree angle plugs. I’ve finally discovered that the angle bulb is also known as a HB3 and the straight one is HB3A. There’s no bulbs on the market over 65 watts in the HB3A version. Few cars originally came with straight base 9005 bulbs hence the lack of "better" bulb in the afternarket.
I would assume that with LMC Truck’s offering, these housings fit vehicles that won’t clear the angled bulb so they found this straight version to make it work.
I’m gonna find a regular 9005 (HB3) bulb with the 90 degree plug and see how it works in these housings. Also considering that the headlights flip down on these cars, I’ll see if there’s any interference.
Hella offers a clear 100 watt bulb, HB3, 90 degree base. This is the one I want. I will not use tinted bulbs, clear only.

OK folks, the 9005 HB3 90 degree angle plug bulb does NOT clear the outer or inner housings UNLESS you perform the following modifications. Doing so will allow you to use the 100 watt, 9005 Hella bulb. First two pics are pre mod:
