Default AFR 205 only head swap. 50rwhp/40rwtq

well My car originaly had the following mods

2004 GTO M6 4700 miles

Lingenfelter CAI
MTI 78mm TB
Dynatech LT headers
Flowmaster Exhaust
ASP pully
Comp 224/228 .581/.588 113lsa

car made 380/350 (tuned) weather - 79deg 30% humidity

added AFR 205's (11:1 compression - angle milled)

car made 430/390 (tuned) weather - 88deg 60% humidity

by my calculations 50hp/40rwtq

thanks to Tony at AFR for finding me a set, most places were 4-6 weeks I got mine in 2 days

I plan on doing a similar heads only swap here shortly. Just waiting on the heads to arrive.

I have very close to the same cam specs and made 426rwhp and 406rwtq. Tha.t was done with the stock cat back and a 12 bolt rear and a Denny's steel driveshaft. I thought those heads would have made 450-475 with your set up.Your making great #'s , I just thought those heads were suppose to put everyone elses to shame. Looks like I would get no gain switching heads

good for you, however you missed the whole point of this thread.

Nice gains! I called a AFR dealer the other day and they told me 8-10 weeks now on the LSx heads, and 10-12 on the AFR 195's SBC heads. They make awesome product for sure.

You are not saying much. You are comparing apples to oranges. He is just trying to show everyone the gains of going from a stock head to a AFR 205 head.

great results. ditch the flowmaster exhaust unless its a gutted single chamber.
