I know this is a dumb question but I am not really sure as to how many they made.
Could someone tell how many each year or in total or is someone knows the production list for these
and what is it that makes them different form the others Ws-6, trans-am is it only appearence or performance as well?

Description of differences between Trans Am, WS6, and Firehawk can be seen at http://www.ws6.com/faq/4_1.htm
Links to production numbers info, including one for Firehawks, can be found at https://ls1tech.com/forums/2150896-post.html

No numbers reported for 1998........Yup, I see your point, but can only provide you w/factual information that was published.
Just the messenger here everyone, and the 2002 build count was N/A (approx 1300)
, but Dave Hamburger confirmed 1505 for 2002. Of these 1505, a few were produced by SLP and not recorded , just in case someone wants to challenge the info.

The 25 Firehawks you have listed for 1992 is actually a combination of 1991-1992, though...
http://www.thirdgen.org/newdesign/tech/techdb.shtml says 8 in 1991 and 17 in 1992.
http://www.yearone.com/enthusiast/ar...th_perfart.asp says 6 in 1991 and 19 in 1992.

There weren't any made in 1998 because the program was put on hold while they had to revise some things for safety considerations:

SLP actually pulled the 1998 Firehawk off the market because of problems with crash testing the front end of the car.
To clarify what has become a confusing situation for certain enthusiasts, SLP Engineering, Inc. did not produce 1998 model year Firehawks at its Montreal, Quebec, Canada production facilities.
SLP did however add Firehawk content to 6 1998 model Trans Ams and Formulas. That work was performed at our Troy, Michigan facility. The 6 vehicles were purchased locally from Pontiac/GMC dealers, converted in Troy, then used for 1998/9 model year marketing and sales activities.
In addition, it should be noted these vehicles do NOT contain the GM RPO WU6 option code. While these vehicles do contain Firehawk content, they are NOT considered production Firehawks by SLP.
