Default Anyone Know Where To Get Fixed Headlights For TA's?

So i've come to the conclusion that i do not like my air-brakes (aka pop up headlights). This is nothing new, and especially with the onset of the C6 confirming just how good fixed headlights look and more importantly, WORK i am all about getting a set. The only problem is that the only kit i ever came across was the wings west kit for $1000. Anyone know where or if another exists?

except most of those are about the breathless kit... so i guess that answers my question. i really wanna get the fixed lights w/some HIDs for my car. I think it would look incredible. However 1K is just a lil silly for headlights. i think i'll just try and make my own.

Now that were on the topic of headlights, I always wondered about something. I know there are 'black out' kits for Camaro's lights, but I was thinking, what if you could make black outs for exposed headlight kits on T/As(this would be for black cars only). It would look stock, for those of you who dont like the look of clear lenses on the T/A (like me). Maybe they could have difference colors to match the other colors too.

That is a great idea! If you had a black T/A it sure would freak people out when you turn the lights on. lol You should work in their design dept. dude.

Well, this thread was for asking where to get them, they weren't asking for opinions on how they look... perhaps the 'huh?' was an indication of wondering why you posted that here, instead of confusion about what you meant

Precisely my point.

By all means, go right ahead and start a 'fixed headlights suck' thread. I don't give a f@#k what you think. You're entitled to your opinion, but if it doesn't help - keep it to your self or say it somewhere it matters? k? thanks.

I saw a trans am with fixed headlights and I though it looked pretty cool. I don't know who made them though. Pop up headlight are just a problem waiting to happen.....again and again and again. If fixed headlights weren't so expensive, I would consider them.

well, when GM put the headlights on national backorder we were all screwed with NO PARTS to keep em stock, unless you were willing to let someone on eBay rip you off for $500 a side used parts. I was looking at buying the fixed headlights too, but a grand for headlights is stupid...STOCK or AFTERMARKET. I bookmarked an eBay auction for someone who sells em if you're still looking.
