Default any 370 with l92 combo

i was wondering if theres any 370cid with l92 combo making really good numbers at rear wheels.what compression and what cam.

I have a local friend with a iron 370, Trex cam, and unported L92's. He made ~480rwhp with crappy MAC mid length headers. We are expecting near 500rwhp with that issue fixed.

flow 360 CFM intake, 280 CFM exhaust, SS valves, Ti retainers, dual springs

6.0 Liter
RPM Motors - Medium Geometry L92 Heads

thats a lot of torque for 6L. Who needs the 4" cranks?

I have an Iron 375ci short block (built by NICK @ ARE IN LATE 2000) TSP CNC'D L92'S, COMP 236/242 640/647 112 , UNPORTED L76, Grotyohahn 1-3/4 - custom 4" y-bullet dump. 440rwhp/410rwtq
This is through a 4L80E w/ YANK 4200 STALL, 9" W/ SPOOL & 3.70 GEARS & 325/50/15 MT DR'S.
The setup I run isn't ideal for max peak power but I wanted the power to hit a little late due to the fact that I mostly street race and I wanted the power band to be like it is. FWIW THE TQ # IS WITH THE CONVERTER LOCKED. I didnt care about the unlocked TQ # as I typically lock the converter just after getting into 2nd gear on an NA run so thats what I needed to see.

I also have 2 kits on the car and with an all billet/cryo treated 4L80E, I can lock the converter in first gear and turn on the gas.That is where this setup shines.

I'm planning the next step now with either a new cam and carb style intake or just building a new 427/440 or ? My engine is old, headers are costing me some power and i think it may be the time to start over with a fresh short block.

Since I last posted Ive went through a few combo ideas from a 402/APS TT, 440 LS7 HEADED SHEET METAL INTAKE SETUP, etc.... Ive decided to keep my spraying my current short block until I drive over the crank. I am going to spec a new cam and headers next week and get them installed and remove ~ 150 or so lbs out of the car.
