Flycutting Tools
Here are some pictures of the Lindy Tool In Head Piston Cutters (IHPC). I have no connection to the company that manufactures these other than being a satisfied user. They are great tools and I wanted to share another option available for in-block piston flycutting.
Features:
1. Will fit in a disassembled head, down to the valve seat without modification to the cutter or head.
2. Provides a radius cut in the piston
3. Radial clearance built into the cutter, typically .090
4. Come in exact valve sizes for an exact fit
5. Manufactured of M-2 tool steel for long life, can be resharpened if you cut that many pistons
6. Guide rods available in metric sizes, i.e. 8mm for LSx engines
7. The back side of the cutter is shaped like a valve seat to reduce the chance of damage to the valve seat and valve job
8. Guide rod stops for setting cutting depth
Dave Lindy is a super nice guy that has some great information to share. He makes the tools himself and will do custom configurations if requested.

1-7 not enough?
I'll add one more.....
They are only 78.50 per cutter and you get to speak directly to the guy that makes them when you call.
...OK I added 2 more. LOL Pictures are worth a thousand words.
I ordered mine today.

It includes the cutter head, mandrel, stop collar, thats the complete tool.
Also in most applications if you do the intake and exhaust you only need one complete tool and one cutter head the size of the exhaust valve head.
EDIT: I assumed he listed the price of the complete usable tool.

Itslow.... you have a PM.
When I ordered mine today the cutters were 78.50 each and the mandrel was $28. Less than $110 for the entire tool. 8a8mfh was correct in an earlier post...around $107 for the entire tool. I ordered cutters for intake and exhaust and one mandrel/collar.
This guy needs to be a sponsor.

They keep a few popular sizes in stock, but when you call you talk to the owner (or one of them), he gets your specs and makes a tool specifically for your application.
The guy is nice to talk to, it was kinda difficult to get him to shut up when I was done placing the order, but thats a good thing IMO.

Actually if you get two guide rods you might be able to get it done quicker because you wouldn't have to swap them out. You could do one chamber at a time. I've only used these on the intake side of big blocks, never had to do the ex side.

HAHAHA. Me and Frat both had the same thing to say about him. Helluva guy. Chatty, but great guy. He makes industrial tooling primarily. The cost of advertising here wouldnt do him much good. I'm gonna try to hook him up with some of my machine shop buddies. Get him some biz.

Got my cutters!!
Just arrived via DHL. Have not opened them yet.
Everything is tore down with the exception of the heads. I'll get started on the 26th.
406HP_Z06.... if you dont mind I would like to post up some pics later this week to show what the cuts look like. In response to Killer_Bluebirds question. Rather than start another thread, I figured I would post it here.
Ed,
If you need to borrow the exhaust cutter let me know. Its sized for a 1.575 valve. I should be done with the cuts by Thursday at the latest.
