Arrow spring ?

hey guys i made the mistake of buying Sportlines about 2 yrs. ago and am finally getting around to puting them on. but ive have seen some mixed reviews about them from using the search feature . especially the rears. anyone w/ sportlines plz chirp in here . after theyre installed its not going to have the rear of the car sagged lower than the front is it ?? also i have read that they dont have enough spring rate to keep ya off the bumpstops on rough roads. the car isnt gonna ride like something Javier just drove across the border is it (bouncy like some lowriders w/ airbags) you know looks like it isnt rolling down the road its shaking and bouncing the whole way. if so these things are going in the trash. cause i cant have a F body looking like its got hydraulics on it one member from another site i talked w/ said his front springs were fine but that he wished he woulda cut the stock springs in the rear instead of going with the sportlines.

any suggestions or ideas ????? other than the normal quote for sportline(trash'em)

thanks

Sportlines are a poor choice for our cars.

also if ya'll agree about cutting the rear stock springs instead of the sportlines How much do i need to take off to get the same ride height as what the sportlines would have given me ?

yeah thtaas what i was thinking of doing but i want a decent amount of drop 1" just isnt enough for me im looking for 1.5 - 2 " like what the sportline were supposed to produce. just dont want a screwed up ride like i think the sportline are gonna produce
i hate to sell them cause i'll never get anything close to what they cost and theyre still brand new i just took them outta the box the other day. so im really undecided on what to do. Anyone need some sportlines

I think the Prokit and the Hotchkis springs are almost 1.5 drop.

I did the same thing when I first got my car, I got some sportlines. I rode with them on the car for about two months and that was enough for me (terrible ride), I put my stockers back in. But now I have Strano's and couldn't be happier.

Arrow spring

was it that bad ? what was the biggest prob. u saw from them ? the rear or the front springs? i noticed when i got to messing w/ them it didnt take any pressure at all to compress the spring quite a bit . (alot actually) i bet they really do ride good how did the stance of the stranos look compared to the sportlines on your car?

My car has sportlines...they were on the car when I bought it. I plan on getting stranos when he gets them back in stock.

The sportlines aren't as bad as everyone makes them out to be. Don't get me wrong, I think they suck...but I've driven worse. They have two problems. 1. Drop is too low: you no longer have ample suspension travel, causing frequent bump stop encounters. 2. Sping rate is too weak: meaning that the shocks can't dampen the rate properly leading to similar problems as #1. But the car sits level...and they have been on for a few years and don't sag like the pro kit.

If I hit a dip in the road, the rear hits the bump stops and it kind of bounces you out of the seat. But other than that, on flat smooth straight roads, they are fine. The drop looks great, but they are not practical.
