IMO, the reason for the difference is because the majority of guys on tech, and the internet in general, don't run anywhere near the ET they should.

Weight X Horsepower= trap speed.

Elapsed time is a function of traction, IE the first 330 feet. No way to calculate that.

If you hang around the track long enough you get a feel of what trap speed is capable of what et.

126 mph is CAPABLE of a mid 10 sec pass etc.

130mph is capable of a low 10 sec pass.

according to the engine motor horse website my formula made 384 rwhp to run the times i had ...and that was without the 80mmbbk tb and the P&P 241 heads and ls6 intake..all i had was slp full exhaust and borrowed mt dr's...
