Window switch, and e cut outs.
I have a idea that I am going to try to use a DMH cutout and a MSD digital window switch. My idea that I have is some what similar to a nitrous window, but with a cut out. Have a arming switch to turn on the window swithch to open when you want to race, or here some rubble or to arm the system. Have the window set somewhere around 2600-2800 so it would open fully around 3-3500 rpms the power band of most cars. I know I can get to system to give the cut out power to open, but how can I get the cut out to shut off when it is full open. (relays) Then if the rpms drop below the window to have the cut out close and then shut off, so the motor does not burn up. I think it will be interesting to have something set up like this.
If you have any inputs that would help me in my idea or hints please help me out.

Problem is, the motors are too damn slow, by the time you
get it open the window is over.
Now, a plain TPS switch setup might not be so bad. You need
a couple of relays and some sort of one-shot to get a close-
back-up duration that gets it done, but doesn't keep the motor
lit up all the time.
Thought about drawing this up before but never got around to
it.
If you had good controls you could probably take out the
limiting resistor that many of them put in, and get faster
actuation. But better safe than sorry, unless you have
a spare motor.

Yeah I understand that they are slow. Mine takes 3 second from full close to full open. I am going to find out how the C6 Z06 works with the bypass in the motor.
Now I am not going to be taking out the resistor int he cut out, I am sure you can get it to open faster. I am going to do it safely and contact DMH and see what they say to open the cutout faster and see what the manufactor says on that topic.
It is going to be a work in progress and see what I can come up with.

IIRC the C6 Z06 uses vacuum operated actuators to slap them puppies open or closed really quick-like.
Too bad there isn't a way to configure something to give power to a circuit for only a limited amout of time...or is there?
