PROSTOCK racers that fitted MY Ti Springs reported 3X the Spring Life.

If that was the case, everyone would be running Ti springs in Fuel and PS. They don't. Haven't for many many years.

i believe thats a matter of cost. (5-10x?) and probably a bit shorter life. those springs get replaced frequently. ti has the advantage of being more "springy" that steel (lower modulus), so while the wire is thicker you need fewer coils. ti springs have been used in aerospace for a long time.

Default Dying for the TRUTH

Hi ALL, I have supplied Ti Springs for ProStock racers.
Their report was a VERY LONG life of my Ti Spring.
They also no longer needed to replace the Valve Springs AFTER EACH RUN.
YES a Ti-Spring costs more (3X)
