Turbine Stall Turbine Stall is a term to describe "choke" in the Exhaust Housing.
When this occurs, the exhaust manifold pressure will become VERY HIGH.
The engine HP will drop and then the engine will be damaged.
Those who ask for a "quick spool" could be in danger of this occurrence when a LOW A/R housing is fitted.
One method to lower the exhaust gas speed, in the housing, IS to mount the Waste Gate directly on the Exhaust
"snail".
That position should be at the smaller side of the housing where the gas speed is highest.
