Offset cylinder chamber for combustion
Example: lets say we laterally set the cylinder over .25 inches on a 4 in. stroke. the effective stroke is increase by the cosine of the angle which not significant at .25 inches but the moment arm is now .25 inches longer plus the cosine of the angle which is longer or about 9%, 35 ft-lbs of torque in an normal LS6 motor? This sounds like free power from a simple change in geometry. in others words same displacement more power.
there must be a reason why not otherwise it would've been done long ago.
