Looks cool, and you're welcome to give me that cracked up old firehawk hood that no one would want.

I think he's going to charge around $3k, which is really good for what he did. He's getting it from the insurance, so I'm not sure what the final price will be but I'll post it when I know.

Terribly decision IMO, but the car looks good otherwise.

Looks great, I went with Rogers aswell. I think the quality is second to none.
Can't wait to see the post of the finished product.

Looks good but a few questions:

Why did you go with Vinyl on the pontiac letters? and Why are the "RAM AIR" letters so far away from the regular location?

So far so good though.

There is no vinyl anywhere. The camera I used wasn't that great and I'll get some really high definition pictures when it's all done. The ram air didn't flow when it was is the original spot very well. It's kind of one of those things you'd have to see it. Making it parallel to the stripes looked better IMO.

Thats gonna look hot all put together. I've got a little car group going on in Stillwater for OSU students right now. You should check it out on facebook "Stillwater Car Club". We try to have something going on once a week, and a nice cruise once a month. Anyway your hawk is gonna look sweet.

Did you replace the bumper cover too? If not how does the Hawk cover line up with a regular hood?

I have owned 2 Firehawks and both hoods have had issues.

I'll post pictures of the alignment when it's all put together this weekend. But, when we did the test fit, it aligned pretty well. The stock T/A bumper goes about 1.5" back under the nostrils and the Firehawk does not. The shadow projected makes that part invisible, thus, irrelevant.

BTW, I'm obsessed with your car! I see it every time I go onto ls1.com

Cool...I just wanted to make sure you knew the front bumper was a little different than a standard WS6 before you went to fit the hood after painting and all.

And thanks for the compliments on the car....your paint is amazing....one of the best I have seen by far!

Really awesome paint job. But, I'd have to agree with the Ram Air lettering being to high. Other than that, it's probably the coolest paint job on a TA i've seen.
