Default New Paint Job - Black 00' Firehawk T/A

The Firehawk hood started to crack so I had to go with a new hood and I decided on the WS9 from Roger, since it's the WS6 (which is my favorite hood) and includes the heat extractors from the 'hawk.

[UPDATE]

I'll post more pictures when it's completely done, but so far I think it's looks really good! Let me know what y'all think!

The paint looks very very good. What color are the stripes on the hood? Are you going to wet sand the car after the paint drys. Or is there not any orange peel.

Yeah, he is getting an LS7 clutch installed right now with new tires. We'll have some pictures of both of ours up here pretty soon I'm sure.

The stripes are silver with black smoke and shadowing. Yeah, my painter is damn good and does wet sand the car after the paint dries.

Terribly decision IMO, but the car looks good otherwise.

Love the hood, love the paint, love the hawk, love the rear panel filler...when put together could be my favorite on the site.

His name is Ryan and his shop is out in Yukon. His cellphone is 405.820.2588, but don't bother him until he's done with my car! lol, I'm kidding he's a really good guy. He was recommended to me by a friend who has a firehawk. I can send you pictures of the work he did on his too if you'd like.

The Firehawk hood was cracking. My painter said it was most likely a defect. I called SLP and they said they stopped selling the Firehawk hood.

No worries on the pictures man, I'm considering painting it during the winter. I'll give him a buzz in a few weeks. Thanks for the info, car looks great!

That's a wicked paint job! The only thing I would change would to have the trunk lock filled in.

It's a gorgeous paint job...but the key hole really takes away from the work.
