Default Install of new UMI shift handle *pics*

Just got my new UMI shift handle from MarylandSpeed today, thought I'd take some pics. Feels way nicer to have my hand around this shifter than the Hurst ****. I think it would be a little better with a new short throw as well to bring the height of the handle down just a bit.

For that to look remotely good you need to get a short stick or a different shifter.

Never try to jump from the passenger seat to the driver seat....specially in shorts. I picture one of the craziest 911 calls history...LOL!

I bought a pistol grip and short stick from WS6store.com. It is the best combo for banging gears I have found. My shift are 10 times faster and much more precise. I RARELY miss a gear with it and it also looks really good in my car. Here is an idea of what it would look like with a shorter stick.

I have the hurst with the button. I think that its great. Whats not great it I had to chop 3 inches of my B&M stick and then re-weld it so I wasnt punching the dash every time I hit 1,3,5 and reverse. Other than that I like it.
