Someone spray painted my car, can I buff it off?
Some fagots (no idea who) put spray painted a line on my bumper. Is there any way I can buff the hell out of it until it comes off or do I just have to get it repainted?
Thanks,
Jason

You could try buffing it off, but you'd be taking a chance of buffing the clearcoat down to nothing. I'd take it to a bodyshop and see what they had to say.

simple wax will take the paint right off. You can apply it by hand or you can try a clay bar, but wax will take it off. Good luck....Michael

you can remove spray paint with any good tar and bug remover, keosene or gasoline and it will not hurt the paint. just wash it afterward and wax it...

I second the bug and tar remover. This stuff works great for taking stuff like that off the paint. It works miracles.

Well I will try your other stuff guys. The wax didn't work. Only when I buffed the hell out of my car. WD-40 didn't work. I guess I'll try maybe some lighter fluid and the gs scratch remover stuff next.
Thanks Guys,
I'll update Monday.

yeah I used Liquid Glass car polish some stuff that I picked up at the Auto Show that stuff takes anyhting off the paint its crazy...What kind of wax did you use? I should have came right off. I got rustoliem on my car after painting the roll bars and the wax took it right off. My sister BF also got his car spray painted => wax took that off as well. Keep trying it will come off, now the thing is finding the right wax to do the trick....too bad you aren't close I would take it off for ya...People like that should be shot...

Re: Someone spray painted my car, can I buff it off?
Well, actually this happened to my last car, GSX. I had a metallic silver one, and the boyfriend of the girl I was seeing (I didn't know she had one!!!) decided to put a red line down the side. The guy at Checker auto told me to try that "GS-27" the stuff you see on the infomercials. Well, it f'ing worked! I was so damn shocked. I didn't do a damn to get out little scratches, but it took the spray paint right off!!! If you lived near me, I'd let you use what I had left. One more thing, if your worried about it not working, you can always return the "unused" portion back to the auto parts store. (Hell, return it even if it does work, hopefully, you'll never need it again!)

Just make sure you have a bucket of soap and water next to you while doing it. Work on small sections and do not let the brake fluid sit on the paint very long.
Good luck</strong><hr></blockquote>
I would advise against the brake fluid idea unless you really know what you are doing. It is capable of taking all the paint of your car...
