ss hood scoop?
I have seen an older 2nd gen scoop moulded onto a 98+ hood. I think it was one from a 1978 or 79 Z. Didn't look too bad. Pretty much the same style as a newer SLP SS hood.
Personally I say if you want an SS style hood scoop... just save for an SS hood and at least it can be functional.

ss hoods are nice, but everyone n their momma has one, get a sunoco cowl hood, looks much better imo. nothin goes better than camaro's n cowl hoods

Seems to me it might be better to hold out for an SS hood. Unless you can do the body work yourself, I doubt you'll be saving [I]that[/I ] much in the long run by adding a scoop and paying for a body shop to mold it onto your hood, plus repaint it.
