Default SLP car cover = CRAP!

When I ordered my car I ordered the car cover with it...it worked fine most of the time, but when I took it off today and got it into the sun I noticed about 6 or 7 vertical white scratches running down the right rear quarter panel....then I looked under the cover and I felt the parallel line threads and they felt like razors.....I couldn't catch any of the scrathes with my finger nail so I hope they can be buffed out....if not, The whole rear bumper with the quarter panels is going to have to be repainted...

I think I am going to look into another car cover....

Any ideas on some real soft ones that wont scratch??

SLP has always been good in my mind, but this got me a little pissed...

I agree, the SLP car cover is terrible, I sold mine after I put it on my car once. I would look into a Noah car cover, those are as soft as you'll get.

I've got a Beverly Hills Motoring customfit copver that is great. I got the best one for indoor use - can't remember their fancy name for the material. It may have been the stormguard elite.

It was around $200 two years ago, but worth it IMO.

I've got the Noah from California car covers. It works great even in the Houston weather.
