I use Menzerna.
Then Prima Finish.
Then Prima Amigo.
Then Victoria's Concours Red.

I do not use much you can buy off the shelf. Turtle wax stuff is the worst. Use Mother's or Meguiars if you are using off the shelf stuff.

meguiars is just fine. use their professional line, in the beige bottles. #26 hi-tech yellow wax is fantastic. #7 (i think) showtime glaze first, then either #26 or their new polymer sealant on top if you want to go all out. gold class is alright, but ive found it harder to remove then #26, and not a big diff. in shine.

if this is fresh paint, i think youd first want to start with a dish soap wash, then claybar everything. then a polish, then wax/sealant.

if its just a driver you want to look nice once in a while (between rain, snow, birdshit, sap, frost, etc), use a cleaner wax regularly.

I like: Mothers, Meguiars, and Zymol.
I do not like: Zaino or any Turtle Wax products.

Don't hear that very often.

I don't mind Zaino, just don't think for the money it is that great. Depth isn't there. Shines like crazy though.

Exactly what I was getting at. For what it costs it just isn't worth it. You can spend much less for a better product. It doesn't last to long either if you ask me. I think some like it just because they "think" it's good.

For daily cleaning and claybaring, I use Maguire's detail spray and claybar.
For periodic waxing and polishing, I use Adam's car products. I like Adam's products because they don't leave all that powdery residu behind.
Plus, I never use anything but microfiber towels on the car.

to not get white powdery residue, stay away from white colored waxes. megs #26 is yellow, doesnt dry white. also their sealant doesnt dry white. their cleaner wax, however, is white and will leave behind white stuff, especially if you get it in between trim mouldings or such.

I love this stuff....
So much depth, pretty decent protection, and one jar lasts FOREVER.

It's simple. There is no best. Best is subjective...it's all up to you. Whatever looks best, works best, easiest to use, etc. for you.

Prep the surface properly and thoroughly, and anything is going to look good for you.

If they only followed this reasoning for the SEMA display cars in Vegas last week.

To each there own. I bought a jat of the very liked P12S carnuba and quickly stopped using it after i waxed my black T/A with Turtle Wax Platinum Series Carnuba. I love how wet the car looks like after one coat, and for what its worth, if you are a black car owner, you are gonna have minor swirls or small imperfections in your paint here and there. Let me tell you, this wax does a great job of filling those swirls and marks up. And for the price, you cant go wrong!
