How powerful are the leaf blowers that you guys use?? I tried using my dads and it wasnt working too good. I know its not a top of the line blower, but its not a cheap one either. I plan on getting a better one soon.
As for now i use the absorber and MF towels.

The leaf blower I got from Lowe's and the same one at Home Depot blows at 240 mph. Electric, less than 100 bucks. It works great especially on the chrome wheels. No wipping. One minute or less on each wheel.

My leaf blower is nowhere near top of the line either. I found it at Big Lots for a mere $35. It is a electric Black and Decker capable of 200mph. Works great! It may take a bit longer to dry with the leaf blower but after your done you don't have to worry about watter running out of those tight spaces like the hatch channel, out of the tail lights or out of the side view mirrors.

Well, remember the less you touch the finish the less chance you have of swirls, scratches, marring, etc.
Once I finish my final rinse, I use an open-end hose to sheet the majority of the water from the finish. Then if you have a leaf blower blow as much as possible from mirrors and cracks/crevices. Lastly, finish up with a quality waffle weave towel and a detail spray.

Leaf blower first, then air hose for the small cracks and crevices, then as I'm using the air hose I use an absorber to get the rest.
When I wash my truck I'm not as **** and it takes way longer to wash so I use a water blade then the absorber.

you guys talking about micro-fiber reminds me of a guy i used to know. He would literally start to gag/almost throw up if he even touched a micro-fiber cloth. He said it's something about how it kind of sticks to your hands? he was O-D-D...
since my car is blue, i use the blue absorber. I also have a red one for my red truck.

Glad someone has proper drying tools....
The absorber swirled my paint.
I have bad luck, so I don't use a leaf blower.
I use Sonus waffleweave towels. They have little pockets to trap any small specks of dirt that get on your paint inbetween rinse and dry....without dragging it across your clear like the absorber does.
