SS HOOD! Where would be the best place to get a SS hood for my 2002 Z28? Is there anywhere I can order it already painted? And what would be a decent price to have it painted? I wanted it painted Sebring Silver like the rest of the car and the scoop black!
Re: SS HOOD! most hoods range from 600-800 bucks, the majority of them dont come painted. though i do remember running across a site that you had the option of puttin your color code in and they'd paint it for you at an extra charge.

Most dealerships wont sell you an SS hood or a WS6 hood, (depending on application) if your VIN isnt a WS6 or SS.
Don't buy a hood pre-painted.... When i got mine I was going to get my fenders blended but I was whining and just got the whole car done... miss-matching parts is a no-no

All the cowl induction hoods I've seen are huge and roll up from the front to the windshield, I want one that is up a little and straight back, kinda like an "OUTLAW" scoop!
