Where would be the best place to get a SS hood for my 2002 Z28? Is there anywhere I can order it already painted? And what would be a decent price to have it painted? I wanted it painted Sebring Silver like the rest of the car and the scoop black!

most hoods range from 600-800 bucks, the majority of them dont come painted. though i do remember running across a site that you had the option of puttin your color code in and they'd paint it for you at an extra charge.

Make sure you get the SS badges so you can make the ricer transformation complete. :p

Most dealerships wont sell you an SS hood or a WS6 hood, (depending on application) if your VIN isnt a WS6 or SS.

That used to be true but not anymore...
Don't buy a hood pre-painted.... When i got mine I was going to get my fenders blended but I was whining and just got the whole car done... miss-matching parts is a no-no

Pretty much considering are airboxs are in the front, so the Cowl induction is just for looks

All the cowl induction hoods I've seen are huge and roll up from the front to the windshield, I want one that is up a little and straight back, kinda like an "OUTLAW" scoop!
