How was the install/removal process? I'm thinking about doing this too, but not sure what the process involves...

Unscrew stocker. Screw on aftermarket.

looks better, i had mine shaved when i had the car repainted, i have an rear window antenna now, i get better reception than with the stock power antenna

Reception is perfect. I was one of the first Trans Am guys with stock electric antenna to swap out for a Bitviper. Super easy swap & I am way happier with this set-up.

I bought mine at walmart for like $7. It can go as small as that but you can pull the tip of it to extend it some as well.
