LT1 and LS1 Bumper DIfferences
LT1 and LS1 Bumper DIfferences Does the LT1 use that egg-crate like bumper instead of a bumper support like LS1 front ends? I'm swapping back to an LT1 front end but don't want to sell the bumper support if I'm going to need it.
Simply, with an LT1, do I need this piece? (The bracket/support thing that bolts onto the headlight bracket).
In this picture, I don't see it (ignore the arrows).
But after the change, I do see it. It's even painted the color of the new LS1 front end. So my guess is, I don't need it for an LT1 front end?

Funny you said that though. The old owner of the car sent me some videos on YouTube of it racing a LS1 Vette (must have had a shitty driver) and some Mustang GT's and about half of the comments were people saying "That's not an LT1."
