Hatch release button ? I was wondering what all is involved in installing a hatch release button. My camaro didnt have one when i bought it and taking the other key off the ring gets old after a while.
Ive seen the buttons themselves for sale, but what all is needed to hook up the system? any wires, cables, etc?

Some of the base model v6's did NOT have a power hatch. Or maybe even the "stripper" z28s I don't know. But yeah alll you need is the button and the lock in the back. Maybe the wiring. Thats if its not impossible to get to

wires and plugs are already there. i went to the dealership and the solenoid was like $25. just screw it on and plug it in, theres already a plug by the latch. and under the kick panel there is another plug wrapped with foam.
