Racing seats installed pics
So I finally got time today to install my new light weight racing seats with the suburban/tahoe style armrest option.
First thing i noticed is the noticeable difference in the weight from the factory heavy seats. Acceleration @ WOT is also noticeably quicker going through gears, and I have rated the following based on my short experience with the new seats installed.
Comfort- 7 out of 10, I'd rate factory seats an 8 but you have to sacrifice to go fast.
Style- 9 out of 10, easy to swap seat covers to always be in with latest trends/colors
Cost- 10 out of 10, I got a great deal on these, PM me for info B/C I bought them from a non-sponsor ( I dont think our sponsors have developed these yet)
Safety- 1 out of 10, I have heard mixed opinions/ reviews of what might happen in a collision. But I did opt for the side safety harness
Skill level for install 4 out of 10, The hardest parts were getting those heavy factory seats out.
Anchorage/ Fasteners- N/A- ( waiting on arp, katech, or lingenfelter to develope a stud kit.)
Check them out! Comments, questions or compliments welcome-

reminds me of a news story i heard where some dude was arrested for driving a stolen car that was 90% stripped.. the only things in the interior of the car were the dashboard and a milk crate

That's actually around a 82 lb weight difference if you have leather and 62 lb difference if you have clothe.
I currently just have the driver's and rear seats in my 95. I took the passenger front seat out. It's nice for moving things and everyone I've had in the car likes actually having leg space now.
