POSSIBLE, storage idea...
Finally, a comparison of normal t-tops (out dated in my opinion)...
and the new roof...
All these pics had a CRAPPY FITTING prototype with a crappy design. I think if we can get back to where the plug in the earlier pics of this thread was than we'll looking GREAT.

Dear 6LE,
Thanks for not giving up on making new things for f-bods even though you've had so many instances where people have committed to things then backed out on you. Not many people have the creativity or the means to make these things happen and its nice to see you still trying to make things people will want to buy, and turning ideas into physical parts. Sorry I can't support you financially in your processes, but here is my moral support - keep up the good work! The end.

While cleaning my car the other day, I kept looking at the top, thinking what it would look like without the center bar, and I like the idea. Has anyone ever made a targa top Trans AM? I know the camaro's have had a couple done, but I've never seen a T/A with it and think it would be badass. Too bad GM didn't give that as an option instead of the t-tops. The targa roof is one of the things drawing me to the corvette. I'm not a fan of convertibles, but a targa roof is the next best thing in my opinion.

We were discussing how to offer the complete kit (for those who don't just want this to replace their t-tops but actually want to cut the t-bar out and have a simple kit that helps them make it look factory in their driveway) and we are close.
Soon as I have a top in hand my roof is going under the knife

looks pretty sweet, i'd love to see it color matching a car, i think it will really look hot then.
you can still remove your hard top, there is a frame like t-tops have underneath. i think, someone else chime in here.

The dip in the middle of the roof does not flow with the body lines IMHO.It would have looked sleeker just being flat across...especially Fbody's that dont have a flat hood(is WS6,SS,aftermarket). And trying to get $1k for a replacement roof section in this economy is crazy. If you adjusted the price by doing a core charge for T-Tops, it would make much more sense. $700-750 plus a pair of T-Tops is WAY easier to swallow than $1k plus shipping plus having to sell my old T-Tops. I would be interested in them for $700 plus my T-Tops. Companies on here have core charges all the time for transmissions, heads, TB's. There is at least $2-300 worth of core charges in a pair of T-Tops.
