It looks good on the intake...chrome and polished are different but I have plenty of polished stuff on the engine to so its not out of place. I hesitate to have it chromed because even though they would seal off the injector holes and inlet line there is still a chance of it getting stuff inside of it when its dipped...and that wouldnt be good on the injectors at all and you would never get it all out!

I got my coil packs assembled and ready to put on last night:

this all loooks GREAT. i gotta ask tho, when are you gonnna get the engine bay repainted? base/clear SOM is all this thing needs to be 100% unbeatable at the shows!!! and it can all be done with the motor in there if you tape it up carefully.

I have been debating painting the engine bay....thats one of those mods that cant been "undone." Nothing else on the car so far really cant be returned to stock if I wanted to. (I have all the stock stuff put up...EVERYTHING!) Its a low mile fairly rare car so ONE DAY it will be worth more stock than modded.

But with that said I will probably do it this spring! LOL

 

BTW...I got the intake back on and cranked it today. It only took a week (I had some...distractions!!!)

This is a preview...its filthy and everything needs polishing but it cranked up and ran!!!

Thanks...yeah, stock at my house doesnt last very long at all. But I have a THING about being able to put it back stock if I ever wanted to. But I pretty sure it will wind up being painted soon!
