Default New rotors w/painted hats!

I saw the rotors that Sommer86, 6LE, and Dave put on their cars, so I got a set as well and painted the hats a high temp flat black:

LT_Chevyboy helped me out and showed me how to install rotors and pads (Duralast Ceramic) last night. I bedded the pads (5-10 hard stops from 30MPH), there was still a little squeaking going on, so I did a firm slow down from 70MPH down to 20MPH this morning and the squeaking has gone away (for now). This setup works much better than stock (or at least what I had). Feels much firmer and a lot safer than my old brake setup. When slowing down today one time I noticed that people behind me had to aim to the left or right of my car to avoid hitting me... Didn't seem like I was actually slowing down too fast so I guess they work a lot better than everyone elses brakes. I found out too that I should rebuild the calipers on at least the front.

Some pics I took this morning:

Yep, after buying fluid, pads, and rotors, I spent roughly $300... Driveability comes first.

Looks GREAT! I noticed that i stopped WAY better on these (rotors on line rotors) than I did on stock.

The hardest part is sanding, cleaning, and masking (prep for paint).

Yeah I'm noticing that too... Very pleased. I thought it'd be worse than stock just because of the things I've heard regarding braking surface area but for some reason these feel much much better.

rotorsonline - there's a couple sponsors here who can put in orders for you and possibly get you a discount (6LITEREATER and Stroker396@APF carries these I think). Got all 4 for $175 on a GP deal but I'm not sure you can still get them at that price (wouldn't hurt to ask though ).
