Default Something to spruce up the engine bay. . .

I posted this in the Texas section and then realized this was more appropriate. . .
So I yanked the intake, scuffed it to 220 grit, threw down a few coats of promoter, some dark smoke grey, scuffed it to 320 and threw down a few clear coats, scuffed again to 320 and few more coats of clear. . .

here's the final product prior to install...

here's what it looked like when I yanked it. Already cleaned the drivers side at this point. ALOT of carbon build up in each of the runners.

Oh, replaced that nifty oil pressure sending unit that snapped quicker than snot when I carefully removed the intake...oh well. Replaced all the seals, got new 36# injectors replaced the o-rings on those and this is the final final...

probably going to shorten the braided fuel line an inch or two and the rubber hose also to help it lay down smoothly. Replace all the fasteners with allenhead bolts...maybe black coated. Thoughts? Oh yeah, I'm removing the nitrous stuff if it's in the shots too.

Got the rails from a member here.

LOVE the color, as I'm typing this, my lid is drying (glue for holes) so I can paint it too.

Not tape, paste and no leaks since installed on the 12th, but I've not been driving alot since headgasket leak is really starting to show (oil in the radiator - in fact, probably more oil in radiator than in oilpan)

What spot? Yes, only 320

Where the IAC motor is reflecting some light back into the clearcoat, you didn't miss the area don't worry.
