Can I stack two rimless tires on top of one another for storage?

Can I stack two rimless tires on top of one another for storage? Just bought two 245-16z Potenzas from tirerack and won't need em until I get a flat or the others wear out. I bought them online because performance tires in Hawaii are ridiculously expensive (ONE Eagle GS-C = $308!!!!)
My problem is storing them properly. Can I stack them one on top the other like two donuts? Or will I wear out the sidewalls of the tire on the bottom? <img src="graemlins/gr_cry.gif" border="0" alt="[whiner]" /> Any help, or advice greatly appreciated. Thanx

I'm storing my Nittos (mounted on rims) in the house in the server room.

Should I stand em up vertically?

Tire stores have em stacked like that for a LONG TIME. You aren't going to hurt anything
