Can I stack two rimless tires on top of one another for storage?
Just bought two 245-16z Potenzas from tirerack and won't need em until I get a flat or the others wear out. I bought them online because performance tires in Hawaii are ridiculously expensive (ONE Eagle GS-C = $308!!!!)
My problem is storing them properly. Can I stack them one on top the other like two donuts? Or will I wear out the sidewalls of the tire on the bottom? Any help, or advice greatly appreciated. Thanx

Is storing tires horizontally really an issue?? eek:
I never woulda thunk it!
I'm storing my Nittos (mounted on rims) in the house in the server room.
They are stacked on a couple of geeetar amps.
Should I stand em up vertically?
Should I be 'really' be concerned about this??

I'm such a fanatic, I keep 'em in my living room on towels so I can look at the awesome tread design with love! Can't wait to mount 'em and thanx for the replies!

It really doesnt make any difference.
Tire stores have em stacked like that for a LONG TIME. You aren't going to hurt anything
