Default LOTS of Random New Pics + Mecham Tips

Hey there guys! Today was a sunny, very cold day of 36*! I took advantage of the sun as it's been raining and snowing pretty much nonstop lately here in NY, so I have some pics from today and some random ones from over the last week or so. I put on new Pypes Ovals (same thing as mecham tips) and a new set of blackbird stripes.. Finally got some daytime pics with the tips. I think they look pretty sweet, definitely better than what I had.

The pics aren't top notch as I was just using a point and shoot camera, but here ya go!

(spots are reflections of snow, not in the paint )

What can I say, I love takin' pics of my car

LOL I know. I come to the muffler shop to get my car and that was sitting next to mine. I laughed and had to grab a pic. By the way thanks 5.0 Hater for that healdight tip, I did it about 30 minutes ago and my headlight closes perfectly now Thanks Fury!

Looks really good. Is the driver side tip cooked though?

I also love the bird overlay!

Thanks guys! yeah the left is a tad bit crooked, the exhaust pipe that comes out of the muffler on that side is all messed up, so 1. the pipe doesn't come out straight and 2. the muffler shop was too dumb to correct it.. it's not really anything to big to me though.
The bird overlay was there when I bought the car, but I believe Ramsst, forgot his name exactly, the guy with the SOM WS6, also knows someone who can make the two toned bird overlays in case you want one!

For the last few months, my headlight would close, and then raise back up a little. I knew it was because of the white/yellowish plastic stops on the motor. Open your hood, raise your headlight either somewhat or all the way. Look down at the motor, and in the path of the motor arm (thing that spins) there will be the two plastic stops. If your headlight doesn't close all the way like I stated, you only need to do this on the TOP stop, closest to your face. 5.0 Hater shared this with me: Grab some electrical tape, cut a decent sized piece, and wrap it around the end of the stop, so your basically "extending" the stop with tape. After a few turns of tape, it should be hard enough to hold the arm back. Right after I did it my headlight closed perfectly every time. Sorry for the story, just in case some people didn't know exactly what it was

Tell me about it.. I'll randomly be inside my house and i'll walk to the door or a window and look out. When i'm actually in a store if I can't see the car I wanna go crazy.

Anyone think I should replace the stainless Pontiac inserts with black? Or would it not make a difference?
