Default bird **** stain on paint

Hey guys, I washed and waxed my car this weekend but I can still the a spot on my hood where some bird **** was at, is there any way to remove it?

Remove the wax from your hood, scrub harder, and if that doesnt work, try buffing it out. I've never had one that bad though that needed to be buffed out. Just make sure you scrub pretty hard at it before buffing.

Turtle Wax makes this awesome stuff called bug and tar remover... It might do the job, and it might be worth trying if you dont have a buffer, or if you want to avoid that all together. I've never tried it on bird crap, because usually they will just come off with some scrubbing, but its really good at getting stuff off the paint.

^ i would try that and if that doesn't work, wet sand it with a really high grit paper. buffing it should do the trick

I had the same problem only on lower rear quarter and made it worse with 600 grit. I would try buffing but I don't know about sanding on the hood. I ended up priming and painting with rattle can and it looks a little bit better.

I believe........ They were talking about using a ~2000 grit.

Get some 3M finesse it and buff it out. Follow with ultrafina by 3M and wax! nuff said!
