for the cost of recovering you could get racing seats that are ultimately more comfortable, but it really depends if you still want the stock look

I did mine a few months back, sorry for the old and shitty cell phone pics. I'll be taking new pics after I redo the door panels.

$425 shipped from Hawks Third Gen, then I installed them myself in an afternoon.

I'm in the process of doing mine. i spent $250 at a shop to have the seat covers installed on the front seats and have the plastic pieces sewn on the sides... once i got them home i realized i could not get the uppers to assemble right so i ended up taking them back to have the rest of the seats assembled...so i've spent almost $700 so far if you count the hawks upholstery i bought and i'm praying the front seats will be useable.

here are some pics showing the current progress. I'm waiting on a handle for the rear seat and hopefully it will be done and back in the car in a few days as long as the JB weld job i had to do on a bolt that the spot welds broke on while taking out the handle i'm replacing (we basically had to destroy the handle to get it off after it stripped)

the lower rear seats are done and ready to go back in

and so are the headrests (they are at the upholstery shop now so they can be installed in the seats but i put the upholstery on them myself along with the upper and lower back seats)

the camaro seats i'm sure are much easier than the T/A seats are.

This spring/early summer I plan to have mine (or probably another set since mine or perfect and it would be a shame to ruin them) done in black leather with some orange stitching and black ostrich skin inserts. It sounds weird but the way I am doing it will look good. The ostrich skin will be very subtle since it will be the same color as the rest of the seat and the orange stitching will only be the outside main stitching....the rest will be black and in the same pattern and shape as stock.

I sketched out the pattern of the seats/door panels and let my interior guy go to town.

You'll notice subtle changes...only 4 "bars" in the seats' centers, centers don't carry over to seats' front edge, red double stitch, continued design on door panels.

I had my amp rack covered to match (all black) the rest of my interior.
