nope, you can still see the thread in the sponsors sales section i believe...VFN does GP's and sales about every 4-6 months it seems like, just keep your eyes peeled in the section. Every now and again one will come up for sale from a user on here.

One thing i've noticed on this forum, when a shop has a sale on higher end parts or some that are more costly, a week or two later they will come up for sale from people who never used them but need the money back. Keep an eye on the for sale section here and you might get lucky

Well boys, i'm pretty much done for now. I'm waiting on Tony to finish my intake and ship it, i need to pick up a water pump, and do the welding for the the torque arm brace. That's pretty much it except for painting the hood and doing all the "little things" that pop up along the way. I got my fuel line ran, but obviously can't complete it until i have an intake and fuel rails set up. Linelock and ABS delete got finished today since i finally got around to doing the brake lines up front, they're ready for fluid and bleeding now as well as the clutch. HOPEFULLY i'll have the car done before Christmas, possibly Thanksgiving if everything works out. I went ahead and took some decent pictures of the engine bay for you all, here they are:

Thanks man! I spent a long time trying to determine the head i wanted to run. It came down to LS7's or the 245's. I'm anxious to see what yours puts out.

Yea, this is cool. Our cars being build at similars times with the two diff head choices.

You'll definitely beat me on power. But i really wanted to be able to put on a factory intake. but im also curious to see what i left on the table going this route.

Bad news, is i need my car done ASAP. so i can drive it. (Im driving my sisters lil saturn)

So i may have to just get some stock LS7 heads (in place of some wild WCCH) so i can get it on the road, and then upgrade in a few months.

i WAS, but i couldn't make it fit where i wanted and still be clean/practical. I was shooting for the area under/around my brake booster, but it ended up a little too crowded and it still wasn't going to be completely hidden. I mocked it all up in its current position and didn't hate it as bad as i thought i would, so i just went with it.

I got a little creative and used brass washers with the bolts on the linelock solenoid so it all matches its surrounding hardware

Here's an "older" shot with the 19/20" CCW 505A's i just sold. These are the only shots i have, the car never drove on them. The iForged wheels i posted above are the 3rd set of rims i've had since the car blew up, LOL...

All it needs is everything My "LSX 7.4L V8" is nearing completion, fuel system is about to get plumbed, already packin' a 9" and built T56....anticipation and anxiety are setting in hardcore

hope you all enjoy, i'll be sure to post up any updates or progress. i've got a ton of pics, when the car is done i'm gonna make a "master build thread" for all to see, but this is just a sneek peek i figured i'd throw up for everyone.

How's the ABS delete affect braking? I know you haven't drove the car yet, but since you installed it, you've gotta know a little bout it lol. Is it supposed to be better or worse than normal? Don't really understand it.

Well, I would guess there is just no ABS...

So... anytime ABS wouldn't've kicked in, there would be no change.

Note: I know that "wouldn't've" isn't a word, but it should be, its cool lookin.

Like Punisher said, there's just no ABS. You have to use that valve mounted on the fender there to adjust the front/rear bias. Then everything is normal basically, except when you hammer the brakes the car will STOP or skid, there won't be any ABS system making the pedal soft or anything like that. I'm convinced i've never owned a vehicle in my life that had a properly working ABS system, so i hate it. Any older vehicle without it is so much better to drive. The driver has complete control and nothing else to blame if **** goes south .....plus i shaved off like 20lbs, that ABS block and computer are pretty hefty.

I thought about deleting mine. I've never driven a car without it so I wouldn't know the difference.

Honestly i did mine as more of an appearance mod. I mean i wanted to save weight, but my ultimate goal was a clean, simple but functional engine bay. The ABS block and lines just look terrible. The power steering pump/reservoir is hideous and takes away from the engine's symmetry by blocking the view of the driver's side head. Don't get me started on the AC system ....So i cut it all out and we're going to see how bad it can really be without all the power assisted controls.

Im still on the fence about my PS system. I completely agree with you about the symmetry, and im no bitch when it comes to driving, but im still not sure i wanna drop it.

Even though i haven't driven the car yet, if i could do it over, i'd probably try to find an aftermarket pump and/or reservoir that was relocated. If the pump could be mounted where the AC was and have a small or hidden reservoir, i'd be all over that. BUT...i couldn't really find anything like that for a reasonable price, so i bought a $700 manual rack
