no doubt about it, you're gonna love it!
586rwhp? i'm hoping to clear 600 with mine, in fact i'll be pretty upset if it doesn't make 620. What heads are on your motor? who ported the intake? how big is the cam? compression ratio?

I'm just curious because i'm running a M6/9" as well. I'm contemplating on Vengeance's 96mm combo as well as having Tony Mamo port a FAST for me. I'm still considering a custom sheetmetal intake too, but that is becoming less and less feasable.

Yep, not sure which picture you mean exactly though. The FIRST picture in the thread is my iForged Aero's, 18" all around, which is what's on the car now. The first picture of my car on jackstands with wheels on it is with a set of CCW 505A's, 19" fronts and 20" rears. Both wheels are forged and VERY high quality, high price as well though. There are (or were) a couple sets of 505A's for sale on here, just search the For Sale section.

wow....nearly identical to mine. i think i'm around 11.4:1, same heads, and a 258/266 112 cam....hm....

Yeah i know it'll be fun, it's honestly more for show than anything, i just want it to perform too. 600rwhp was the goal i set, and i'll kind of be upset if it doesn't happen after all the crap i've been through....and i know 590hp on one dyno is 650 on another....so it's just going to come down to how it does at the track.

good luck with the goals man, id be highly impressed and mildly suprised if it makes oer 600rwhp but you never know. usually it takes some fsirly exotic parts to make that happen. with the detail and quality of everything on this build i would be happy with it regardless. i wouldnt let a dyno number ruin it for you.

i was, but i got hard up for cash one weekend for other car parts and a buddy called asking if i was interested in selling the Sunoco hood, told him i would for $400 and he took it. I traded my stock SS hood for the Sunoco + $100, so basically i got $500 for my stock hood. I got to spend a week in field service in a powerplant near Memphis, so i had some extra cash and used it on the new 3" SS

$525 shipped from VFN...i bought it during their sale that just ended (still posted in the Sponsor Sale section). Regular price is closer to $600.

WELL.....i've decided to take the road less traveled by so many gearheads. I'm going to go ahead and get the FAST intake from Tony Mamo, but i'm taking all the money i have left after that and paying off bills. I want out of debt NOW and i can do it except for the car loan right now.

My reasoning is complicated, i want the car done in the worst kind of way, but suffice it to say that there's no time like the present to get stuff paid off. I'll have a couple hundred bucks a month in extra "disposable income" after i pay everything off, so the car will still get done, just in a little longer amount of time. The weather here in southwest missouri has been TERRIBLE for the last two weeks, no sunshine and rain rain rain rain rain rain....SO, even if the car WAS done, i could post pictures all day long, but it wouldn't get driven or even taken out of the garage.

Like i said though, i'm going to go ahead with the intake, and maybe a TCI starter or Meziere EWP, and get what parts i have left on the car and be "done" for a couple weeks. I'm going to help a buddy with a cam swap and another buddy built his stock shortblock to handle more boost from his APS kit. He's basically building his car up like mine: painting engine bay, powdercoating/painting everything, and putting on a 5" sloped WS6 hood from VFN. It's the red Trans Am pictured a few pages back.

ANYWHO, thanks everyone for the compliments and encouragement, but the build is going on hold for a little bit, not a LONG time, but i am going to stop buying parts for a bit. I've had to put my future on hold to build it, and now i have a chance to catch back up and get on track, so i'm going for it.

Cheers

$525 is what i paid with it on sale. I'm not 100% certain i paid freight though, a buddy of mine ordered one too and we had them shipped together to my employer to save on freight charges. He ordered his first and i don't know if he paid the freight and didn't tell me or if they're going to bill be later Either way, i'm $525 out of pocket at this point.
