it's gettin' close!
I would imagine they would revise the design to fit a couple different applications at some point.
There is only a couple inches of space between my tranny crossmember and my BMR torque arm's crossmember. I actually had to cut my Y-pipe in two or three places and weld V-band clamps in. I had to remove the tranny crossmember and install the exhaust in pieces.
I'm running a 3.5" system right now, since my headers have 3.5" collectors. i'd prefer not to reduce it to 3", but i'd love to have duals on it. this was something i was going to try to re-address later on. if i can fabricate a "X" that will fit between my floor pan and the BMR crossmember, and between the BMR crossmember and the tranny crossmember, i'll give it a shot, but i am less than optomistic.
The Y-pipe, i have a V-band where it's broken in this pic, that's also right where it goes over the little hump in the BMR torque arm brace:

this is the complete exhaust, only now i have a dynomax bullet in the middle of that straight section:

here's the crossmember, keep in mind i have a larger diameter PST driveshaft in there now too, and the 3.5" exhaust takes up pretty much all the real estate between the two crossmembers and the single pipe that comes out after the merge has VERY little room between the floor pan and the driveshaft....

i'll really have to get some current pics to give you a better idea...

If you're concerned with noise then you might consider dual 3.5" cutouts behind the collectors and then just run a normal catback. I don't think there's much you could do to this setup to keep it quiet, lol.
No-No!!
Anyways, SIIICK car.. sick build.. sick wheels.. HAPPY THE 19/20 is gone though to be HONEST.

Edit: I see what hood your talking about but I think he sold it or traded for the hood he has now.
