The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time
as for the car, it's BASICALLY done i guess. there's some small stuff, like one of the platic covers that goes over the windshield wiper nut is broken and needs replaced. there are things i WANT to do, like drag shocks/springs in the rear and a drag sway bar, but nothing it NEEDS. After it gets aligned saturday, i'll get it inspected and tagged then start driving it and working on the tune.
One thing i am putting some heavy consideration in doing is having the car painted when i get my tax return. The front end doesn't need done since the hood is new, the bumper got painted, and the fenders were blended too. All it needs is the doors back, and my sail panel is COVERED in the infamous bubbles, plus i found a few small blemishes while it was in the booth, probably from while it was down, that i'd like fixed. I just figured i might as well have it repainted since every single other part of the car was new or needed nothing. it'll be perfect for when i'm ready to enjoy it or sell it.

THATS DEVIL TALK!!!! cant wait to see it
The car is absolutely perfect in every way, OTHER than the grill. That thing is just plain hideous IMO.
BUMP for you, and for the 48 pages I read LOL. I'm still waiting to see some dyno numbers, there are some great shops around. House of Boost and MC Racing are great places that are pretty close, I've also been to Speed Inc and Texas Speed.. neither disappointed me as well.
I've heard a lot of negative stories about both MC Racing and house of boost. They may or may not be credible, but I'm not risking it. I've had positive experience with Speed Inc and TSP. However, I've already decided to take it to Frost anyway when the time comes.

I've finally had some oppotunities to work some overtime so i'm taking advantage of it. I won't be able to work on the car for a week or two now since i'm signed up to work both saturday and sunday this week.
All i'm waiting on right now is having an alignment done. there's only one shop in my area i trust with it and they close shortly after i get off work, so i can only get it done on a saturday, but they close the same time i get off on saturday too, so it's a waiting game for now.
Scheduling conflicts aside, it's been raining off and on too, so the car stays locked up until the weather is nicer. Once i get it aligned and tagged, i'll be driving/tuning it
